Troubleshooting Cisco CleanAccess
Error: "You have temporary access!"
- Windows Update:
TRY THIS FIRST -
Cisco Clean Access Agent requires all the latest patches from WindowsUpdate.
- Using Internet Explorer, go to www.windowsupdate.com.
- You will be asked to choose between an Express and Custom update; select Express, and install any available updates.
- Keep going to WindowsUpdate until it says no high-priority updates for your computer are available.
- Update.bat:
If you've patched your computer but are still unable to log in to Clean Access, right click this link, save it to your desktop and run it.
- Macromedia Flash:
If you still can't connect, install Flash. You will be prompted to install an ActiveX control; follow Adobe's on-screen instructions. (Make sure to view the Flash page in Internet Explorer.)
- Patches:
If the steps above fail, click here for our list of commonly missing patches; try installing them all.
- If you still can't log on to Clean Access, call the Help Desk at extension HELP (x4357).
